Women in Engineering 

WIE’s vision is to promote a culture of inclusiveness and provide a nurturing atmosphere that will foster the growth of the professional, academic, leadership and social skills of our members. According to the most recent report from Engineers Canada, only 22% of the students who enroll in undergraduate engineering programs across the country are women. Furthermore, women account for only 14% of licensed engineers. To address the gender gap, WIE has initiated many different programs, including engineering workshops, conferences, and programs for elementary, high school, and CEGEP students.
